Consulting Experience

Marcus Lee, a Senior Project Manager with the HVS office in Los Angeles, has worked on numerous hotel consulting and valuation assignments throughout the west. He gained hands-on knowledge of luxury hotel operations at properties across the District, as well as international markets including London and Singapore. Marcus’ background in hospitality includes management positions with premier luxury hotels in the nation’s capital. He was formerly one of the Front Office Managers of The Jefferson Hotel, a historic boutique hotel in Washington, D.C, and he served in rooms management and guest-relations roles at the Capella (now Rosewood) and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Georgetown. In addition, he has worked for the Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, and Novotel hotel brands. Marcus earned a BA in International Relations and History from Boston University and a Masters of Tourism and Hospitality Administration from The George Washington University.
