Lorea oversees the HVS’s Consulting & Valuation practice in Mexico, assisting clients in understanding the breadth and depth of our LATAM platform and coordinating the execution of varied projects by a talented professional team. In this role, she has been a valuable leader as HVS has consolidated its leading position among hotel-consulting companies in Mexico and beyond.
She is also actively involved in undertaking a broad array of consulting assignments, including appraisals and market and feasibility studies for hotels across Mexico and Central America. In business-oriented markets, projects span from limited-service hotels in industrial markets to large, full-service projects in complex urban environments. In leisure destinations of all types, projects range from luxury hotels with branded residence components to large-scale resorts, both European plan and all-inclusive. Her expertise extends to the analysis of complex mixed-use and master-planned projects with hotel, residential, retail, and office components, as well as various amenities. In addition, Lorea directs the preparation of strategic consulting projects for developers, investors, and hotel chains looking to expand their footprints across Mexico and, more broadly, Latin America.
Lorea maintains close contact with a broad array of industry players and is regarded as a leading professional at the center of Mexico’s hotel industry. She has unique access to national market intelligence, as well as market-specific insights, which enables her to offer clients unmatched hospitality advisory services. She participates as both a speaker and panelist in HVS’s Mexico Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference (HVS MexHIC) each year and attends other important hotel and real estate conferences.
Lorea attended the Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne, receiving a Bachelor of Science in International Hotel Management, with a specialization in Finance. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
