Ms. Shanahan is an accomplished interior designer with more than twenty years of professional design experience. As Principal, she oversees and manages the design team as well as creates exceptional designs for the firm’s hospitality projects. In addition to hospitality, Ms. Shanahan has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, health care, assisted living, and residential projects.

Before joining the team, Ms. Shanahan was a Project Director for an international hospitality interior design firm. Here she managed architectural and interior design projects from concept, programming, and space planning through construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. She also founded her own successful full-service interior design firm, Studio East Design, which she built on her solid reputation and repeat clients. 

Ms. Shanahan received her Masters of Interior Design from Suffolk University and her Bachelor of Science degrees from Bentley College and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is NCIDQ, a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH).
