Consulting Experience

A Senior Project Manager with HVS Los Angeles, Michael hails from Miami, Florida, where he gained experience in the hospitality industry working within the vacation rental and hotel markets. Prior to joining HVS, Michael served as the Director of Operations at Sand Castles Miami Beach, a small vacation rental company in Miami Beach. Simultaneously, Michael began working with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Front of House Operations. Segueing Sand Castles Miami Beach into a condominium-hotel consulting company, RevMBE Consulting, Michael helped hotels gain access to incremental revenue through niche marketing strategies within the condominium-hotel arena. Michael also managed the housekeeping department at the 1Hotel South Beach, the flagship resort within the 1Hotel Group portfolio. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University’s College of Social Sciences & Public Policy.

"Michael Evans and Luigi Major were highly professional and well versed with our regional market and business plan. Their appraisal and feasibility analysis was well researched and well written due to their experience and knowledge of the lodging industry and the Southern California market. I will strongly recommend HVS, Luigi and Michael to other project owners." - Jim Turco,  TOVA Hotel + Beach Club
