Fattal forward purchases Manchester hotel 

Israeli hotel owner and operator Fattal Hotels has entered into a forward-purchase agreement to acquire a planned 275-room hotel in Manchester’s Piccadilly area from developer Capital & Centric. Scheduled to open in 2021, the hotel will be operated under Fattal’s Leonardo brand. The acquisition comes after multiple deals that Fattal has completed this year, including the Midland Hotel, also in Manchester, and the Jury’s Inn Portfolio, both of which Fattal acquired in conjunction with Pandox AB.

Warner Leisure Hotels acquires Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire UK 

UK-focused Warner Leisure Hotels has acquired the Heythrop Park Resort Hotel in Chipping Norton, around 20 miles from Oxford. The sellers are Firoka Plc, who bought the property in 2000 for £15 million. Heythrop Park’s current franchise agreement with Crowne Plaza will end this month, with the 4-star hotel to be operated independently during 2019 while it undergoes renovation, with a view to integrating it into the Warner brand in 2020. The property is the 15^th hotel within the Warner portfolio, totalling more than 3,000 rooms.
