Heidi’s hotel appraisal and consulting work focuses on lodging markets in the southeastern U.S. In addition to hundreds of hotel assignments; she holds a state certified general appraisal license, Heidi has attended and helped organize many major hotel industry conferences and written articles on hotel markets in Atlanta, Birmingham, and Charleston. Heidi has also written on the unique dynamics of lodging markets proximate to major U.S. military installations. Heidi earned her bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and has front-line hotel experience with The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
Heidi spent a semester in college studying at the University of Reading in Reading, England, an experience that sparked a love of travel throughout Europe. She enjoys spending weekends at the beaches of Sullivan’s Island and the Isle of Palms and exploring Downtown Charleston, South Carolina. She also plays tennis and regularly cheers on the Charleston RiverDogs and Charleston Battery.
