Jeff Pennington, Vice President with HVS Orlando, has completed hundreds of consulting and valuation assignments with a current focus on the state of Florida and Latin America. His clients have included financial lending entities, institutions, government agencies, corporate entities, legal and accounting professionals, developers and private individuals. Jeff has experience evaluating and providing expertise for a wide range of existing hotels and planned lodging developments from limited-service assets, to international resorts, to 2,200-key theme park hotels. His range of geographical experience spans over 20 U.S. states, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
Jeff’s past in-house hotel experience includes operations work and management training at the full-service Hotel Dann Carlton in Barranquilla, Colombia. He has also worked at the ResortQuest Waterscape Resort in Fort Walton Beach, the Governors Inn Hotel and the Hampton Inn in Tallahassee, and the Orlando Hotel in Los Angeles. Jeff graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Hospitality Administration and Real Estate and maintained memberships with the Florida Lodging Association and Florida Restaurant Association while in school. He also earned a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Once a year Jeff provides students in the Hospitality School at FSU with an overview of the consulting and valuation side of the hospitality industry.
