Kevin A. Goldstein is the President of HVS Energy & Sustainability, a division of HVS that helps hotel owners and operators reduce utility costs through diligent facility management and informed, strategic investment into building equipment. HVS’ pioneering approach in this area is financially-driven, owner/investor-facing, and hospitality-specific.
With a firm foundation in engineering, HVS provides our clients with a single resource to identify, underwrite, design, and build a wide range of ROI and capital projects involving HVAC and MEP equipment. We routinely deliver utility line item reductions in the range of 5% – 25%, correlating to tangible increases in operating profitability and improving the underlying valuation of assets.
In addition to our consulting services, we also host the HVS Energy Benchmarking Platform. This is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform which offers a comprehensive analytical resource to manage a hotel's utility spend.
While our clients are primarily institutional owners of hospitality portfolios, we also engage with developers, brands, management companies, and other stakeholders. We operate globally, with regional headquarters in the United States and India.
Prior to joining HVS, Kevin was a development executive for a waterfront real estate design/build firm where he led multidisciplinary teams responsible for feasibility, investment structuring, master planning, A&E design, entitlements and construction. Kevin also has extensive experience in the public policy sector.
