Suzanne Mellen Moderating at BLIS West 2016

San Francisco, CA: HVS is pleased to announce that Suzanne Mellen, MAI, CRE. FRICS, ISHC, Senior Managing Director and Practice Leader will be moderating a panel entitled “The Future of Resorts,” including Rod Lowe from Lowe Hospitality Group, Mark Harmon from Auberge Resorts, and Dani Stern from Destination Hotels, at the first national BISNOW Lodging & Innovation Series: BLIS West 2016 on April 28th in Los Angeles, California.

This regional event will be held at the Sheraton Downtown Los Angeles (California Ballroom) and is part of the BLIS Conference series presented by BISNOW. The conference will focus on innovation and new distribution models, including boutique hotels and upcoming brands; there will also be discussions on the current state of hospitality development, opportunities and challenges in hotel investments, economic key drivers, and trends in construction and design.

Suzanne has developed innovative appraisal methodologies such as a mortgage-equity income capitalization formula for variable income properties, a refinancing model for hotel investments, and a methodology for valuing the real property component of casinos in Pennsylvania, where gaming has been newly established. As an in-demand presenter for conferences throughout the United States, Suzanne has spoken at numerous industry events that include annual appearances at JMBM’s Meet the Money and the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS).
