Jin Jiang International Hotel Management launched a new comprehensive loyalty program- Jin Jiang J Club- in conjunction with Jin Jiang E-commerce Company and other business units within the Jin Jiang Group. The new program rewards Jin Jiang’s 3.5 million members when they stay in Jin Jiang Group’s hotels, purchase domestic and overseas travel package, air-tickets, utilize car rental and 4S auto service and more. Members with premier status will enjoy privileges and discount on both domestic and outbound travel. In tandem with these offers, members will have wider flexibility in earning points, and will instantly get reward back with multiple gifts or miles redemption. In addition, Jin Jiang also announced the launch of www.jingjiang.com online portal, which showcases the group’s various business units, product and services.

Mandarin Oriental To Open A Luxury Hotel In Chengdu Return to Headlines

Mandarin Oriental has announced that it will manage a luxury hotel in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, China. Mandarin Oriental, Chengdu, which is slated to open in 2015, will form part of mixed-use development located on a riverfront site in the Jin-jiang district, close to the city’s key commercial and entertainment areas and opposite the ancient Wang-jiang Park. The hotel will be positioned as the most sophisticated luxury hotel in Western China. Located on the top 33 floors of an iconic tower, the property will feature 320 rooms including 41 suites with a wide selection of restaurants and bars, including a rooftop bar and tea lounge, a Chinese restaurant serving Sichuan cuisine, three specialty dining venues and a signature Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. In addition, the hotel will also offer extensive meeting and banquet spaces plus an all-encompassing 2,740-square-meter Spa at Mandarin Oriental.

Fraser Suites Opens Its Door In Doha Return to Headlines

Frasers Hospitality grand opened its third property in the Middle East - the Fraser Suites Doha, in Qatar. Fraser Suites Doha is located in the heart of the city within close proximity of major corporate and government offices in the West Bay business district. The property offers 138 serviced apartments fitted with lush interiors and extensive resident facilities. With rich natural gas reserves, Qatar is one of the world's richest countries per-capita and is located as a geographical hub within the Middle East. Host to the 2022 Soccer World Cup, the government is investing US$17 billion into tourism infrastructure, which includes the construction of luxury hotels, resorts and meeting facilities as part of its five-year plan which includes the building of a new Doha International Airport and a cruise ship terminal to cater to the more than 50 million visitors that are expected to come through the country.

Lemon Tree Hotels Announces Strategic Partnership With APG Return to Headlines
Lemon Tree Hotels said on Wednesday it has entered into a strategic partnership with the Dutch pension fund asset manager APG to develop a portfolio of mid-market hotels in India. Lemon Tree currently owns and manages 18 properties throughout India ranging from 100 to 120 guestrooms under Lemon Tree, Lemon Tree Premier and Red Fox Hotels. Eight additional hotels are in development. Lemon Tree Hotels will partner with APG to set up a hotel development joint venture-Fleur Hotels. Fleur Hotels will develop and own 4,500 rooms by the end of 2016, according to Lemon Tree’s official statement. All the proposed hotels in this joint venture will be branded as Lemon Tree Hotels, Lemon Tree Premier or Red Fox Hotels.
Best Western Opens Third Hotel In Kuta, Bali Return to Headlines
Best Western International has opened its third hotel in Kuta, Bali - the Best Western Kuta Villa. Designed in a traditional Balinese style, the hotel has 50 rooms all including outdoor showers, separate bath tubs, LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, villas and deluxe rooms offer the luxury of private plunge pools. Best Western Kuta Villa joins the hotel chain’s existing portfolio in Bali, Best Western Kuta Beach and Best Western Resort Kuta. The new hotel also forms part of a major expansion plan for the chain in Indonesia, where the company’s rooms inventory is expected to jump from currently 535 rooms to more than 2,500 by next year.
