The Beijing authorities are planning to collaborate with Saudi
Arabian developers to build a new hotel modelled after Dubai's
Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. The hotel will be
situated in Beijing’s Mentougou District, approximately 30
kilometres from the city centre. The project, which will be
funded by the Saudi partners, has laid claims to being a
seven-star hotel, even though such a classification is yet to be
officially recognised in the world. Other hotels that have made
such claims include Dubai's Burj Al Arab and Beijing’s Pangu 7
Star Hotel. |
