August 4, 2010 – New York, HVS Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Pooja Vir as global Director of Marketing. Pooja will be in charge of leading HVS Executive Search’s global communications and marketing efforts across all its service lines, and coordinate a team which, over the last several years, has strengthened its position as the premier executive search and advisory firm for the hospitality industry.
Pooja Vir is an Economics graduate and began her hospitality career in hotel and restaurant public relations, including as a key member of the Grand Hyatt Mumbai pre-opening team. She joined HVS Executive Search as an executive search consultant in 2006 specialising in compensation consulting assignments for clients throughout the EMEA region. Over the past year Pooja took on additional responsibilities of corporate PR and the coordination of marketing activities at the firm’s five offices around the world, leading to her recent promotion.
