Based in Rockville, Maryland (in the Washington DC area), HVS Spa and Leisure Services (HVS SLS) is one of the world’s largest spa and leisure management and consulting firms. HVS has collaborated with WTS International, Inc. to create the HVS Spa and Leisure Services Division. With over 38 years of experience specializing in the leisure industry, this collaboration provides the perfect partnership to offer our clients feasibility studies, design consulting, pre-opening services and management for spas, fitness centers and recreation facilities at hotels, resorts, residential projects and real estate developments worldwide. HVS Spa and Leisure Services is exclusively focused on the leisure industry and our expertise in this area allows us to provide our clients with the information and guidance necessary to plan, develop and operate leisure facilities that meet the desired operational and financial objectives. We work with hotels, resorts, master planned communities, real estate developments, private clubs, municipalities, colleges and universities to provide effective leisure solutions.

Our specialties include:

• Feasibility Studies - assist developers and owners in making the best decisions regarding the development of a new spa and fitness center or in the renovation to an existing space. A feasibility study includes a market and demographic evaluation, competitive analysis, space plan recommendations and five year financial projections.
• Design and Site Compliance - works with architecture and interior design firms providing planning and design consultation for spas and fitness centers, space program development, equipment specifications, locker room design, reception and retail layout, data processing, and input in all aspects of facility design.
• Pre-opening Services - crucial to the successful launch of any spa or leisure facility. WTS provides selection and training of qualified personnel, customization of the treatment menu, product selection and merchandising plan, operating budget, service protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, marketing plan, and preparation in all other areas for Grand Opening.
• Management Services - focusing on creating memorable guest experiences and a positive bottom line. This includes staff training and supervision, retail product sales and merchandising, fitness and wellness program development, financial management, creative marketing and promotion to maximize revenue, and management of all aspects of facility operations.
• Additional Services - include Accounting, IT, Creative Services, and Equipment Procurement.
