The HVS Assignment
With the sales staff not yet hired, the owner/ general manager of a soon-to-open new construction retained HVS to assess the competitive set, understand the nature of the business feeding into the market, assist with development of rate structures and help the hotel capitalize on the sales and marketing opportunities offered by the Hilton brand, its parent company.

Results
In three months, HVS detailed a sales action plan, including a SWOT analysis and forecasted marketing budget, assisted the General Manager in hiring the Director of Sales candidate, and reviewed the specifics of the plan with the team in order to insure a successful opening for the new entry into the Richmond market.
