The HVS Assignment
Due to personnel changes in the sales department of
the hotel, in addition to the planned property renovation, repositioning
and renaming, the hotel ownership retained HVS Sales & Marketing Services
to conduct their first sales assessment.
Results
HVS detailed a report outlining the strengths and weaknesses
of the hotel's sales activities, and assembled a comprehensive action
plan to improve sales operations and help the team think more creatively.
HVS also identified a new competitive set for the hotel to use in its
sales positioning. Upon implementation of the recommended sales goals
and tactics, the hotel succeeded in increased market share and an improved
bottom line.
