HVS Madrid, established in 2003, provides a wide range of consulting and valuation services to clients in Spain, Portugal and other parts of Europe. Clients include developers, owners, operators and lenders across a spectrum of hospitality sector business models including hotels, serviced apartments and mixed-use resorts.
Our office is led by industry veteran Philip Bacon. He has more than 25 years of experience in professional business advisory services and general management, and has worked with a wide range of independently-managed and publicly-listed international companies. Our team of highly-skilled professionals fully understands the hospitality industry; most have degrees or MBAs in hotel management, and actual hotel operating experience and extensive training in real estate, or are chartered surveyors and members of the RICS. All are multi-lingual and speak at least a second European language.

We are specialists in all forms of mixed use resort development, in particular the implications of including various residential business models within a hospitality-based development. We assist our clients with a full range of services from market research and master planning through financial feasibility, to detailed product development and implementation.
HVS Madrid is on the valuation panels of several of the leading international financial institutions with interests in financing hotels and portfolios.
