  • Our Director of Boston Operations, Tom Dolan, Senior Vice President, came to HVS in 2000 after working in the industry for more than ten years in hotel and restaurant operations. He is an honors graduate of Northern Arizona University and has appraised and evaluated hundreds of hotels.
     
  • Our Director of Market Data and Research is Amy Beam. This department oversees the compilation of market data and trends, hotel assets, as well as hundreds of hotel transactions each year.   • Rod Clough is an MAI and has been working in the hotel industry for nearly 20 years. Rod maintains his appraisal certification in more than 30 states, and with his staff, the firm maintains appraisal certifications in nearly all 50 states.
     
  • All consulting and valuation associates are college educated and are pursuing additional certified valuation training; all associates have hotel operations experience. The consulting staff of the Boston office has worked in a wide variety of hospitality management positions from front desk and housekeeping to sales and marketing; this type of background gives our staff an intimate knowledge of how a hotel operates and how a hotel should perform within its market. We have worked for hotel companies such as Marriott and Hilton, among others.
