Ambika Mehta Gautam as Associate Director provides full service search consulting and execution to the global hospitality and the Indian real estate and allied sectors. Been with HVS since May 2003, she has handled search assignments for international and domestic clients, in close coordination with the HVS Executive Search divisions across the globe. Majors in Psychology coupled with MBA-HR give her the insight into the dynamics of organizational behavior in the service industry that she leverages effectively to offer clients unique solutions for leadership talent acquisition and selection.
She believes in facilitating the movement of talent to where that talent, and those touched by that talent, can flourish.
She over the years has endeavored to find the right peg for the right hole.
Prior to joining HVS, Ambika worked for ten months as Management Trainee with Omam Consultants. Some of the industries in which she gained search experience were fibre, steel and automobile.
Ambika holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology (with Honours) from Lady Shriram College, Delhi University. In 2002, she earned an MBA degree with specialization in HR from Benares Hindu University. During her MBA course, Ambika took a summer internship with Reliance Industries Ltd., where she undertook several projects and studies focused on the HR function.
