Mr. Henkin is CEO and Founder of WTS International, one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing spa and leisure consulting and management firms. Currently, WTS provides its services to over 100 hotels, resorts, luxury residential properties, golf clubs, day spas and real estate developments worldwide. The WTS/ HVS strategic partnership will allow HVS Spa and Leisure offerings to include feasibility studies, concept and brand development, design consulting, pre-opening services and daily management.
Mr. Henkin brings over three decades of experience in the planning, design and management of health clubs, spas and athletic facilities of all types. He has also coordinated and developed numerous feasibility and needs assessment studies for spas and health club properties. A frequent speaker at industry and real estate conventions, he has also published numerous articles on the subjects of spa or leisure facility design and management in such publications as Real Estate Today, Hotel Business, Hotel Executive, Club Management, Club Business Magazine, Real Estate Forum, Resort Management Magazine, Club Director and Boardroom. His speaking engagements include addresses to the attendees at B.O.M.A. (Building Owners and Managers Association), I.H.R.S.A. (International Hotel and Racquet Sports Association) and Club Managers Association of America national conventions.
Mr. Henkin received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland (College Park). He is active in Washington, D.C. charitable foundations and his hobbies include art, nature, theater, tennis and hiking.
