The Team

Anjali Dureja - Associate Director
Anjali Dureja, a Geography graduate from Delhi University brings over 12 years of experience in the field of Executive Search. She is currently the Associate Director with the Mumbai Office. Anjali has handled diverse search assignments across sectors such as Manufacturing, Real Estate, Private Equity Funds & Retail Industry. Her wide ranging exposure has included searches for senior professionals ranging from CEO's, CFO's to Bus Design heads for leading Indian Business Houses and Multinationals.

Anjali has been associated with HVS since 2005. In her current capacity she leads a team of Associates and Researchers. Anjali leads client engagements and works closely with clients to assist them in their talent acquisition efforts in a consultative capacity. A similar approach is adopted towards advising candidates on progressive career moves.

She started her career in 1996 with an entrepreneurial venture in Delhi focusing on executive search and career guidance in Hospitality & Travel sector, after which she moved to ABC Consultants & later Gilbert Tweed Associates, Mumbai.

Ambika Mehta Gautam - Head International & Real Estate
Ambika Mehta Gautam heads the International & Real Estate vertical for HVS Executive Search, India. Been with HVS since May 2003 she has handled search assignments for international and domestic clients, for which she worked in close coordination with the HVS Executive Search divisions across the globe. Majors in Psychology coupled with MBA-HR give her the insight into the dynamics of organizational behavior in service industry. She believes in facilitating the movement of talent to where that talent, and those touched by that talent, can flourish.

Based out of the Mumbai office, in her current role she executes the searches in the real estate and allied sectors in India and across. She also executes the Expatriate positions in the hospitality sector for the New Delhi office.

Prior to joining HVS, Ambika worked for ten months as Management Trainee with Omam Consultants. Some of the industries in which she gained search experience are fibre, steel and automobile.

Ambika holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology (with Honours) from Lady Shriram College, Delhi University. In 2002, she earned an MBA degree with specialization in HR from Benares Hindu University. During her MBA course, Ambika took a summer internship with Reliance Industries Ltd., where she undertook several projects and studies focused on the HR function.
