Job Summary

Your role as a software developer will be to help keep HVS at the cutting edge of technology, in order to further outpace our competitors as HVS continues to grow. You are a positive thinker, proactive and very motivated. You enjoy keeping abreast of current and emerging technologies, are highly detail oriented, strive to create high quality software within project timelines and are able to effectively collaborate with development team members and business people.

Solid design skills, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server 2000 are necessary, as demonstrated through previous website design and development consulting experience.

Your initial 3 months will be on a contract basis, with the potential to lead into a full time role after successful completion of initial contract. Job location is flexible.

Job Requirements

• Responsibilities
  • Define business requirements, design and implement software
  • Develop high quality software in a small team environment
  • Actively participate in design and code reviews
  • Support existing applications at HVS

Education

Degree in Computer Science or related education and experience

Qualifications

• C#, ASP.NET (1 - 2 years)
• HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Microsoft SQL Server (1 - 2 years)
• Presentation, middle tier and database design experience
• Capable of working autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience working on globally distributed teams preferable
